§01

The services

In short — a personal portfolio and a family of small, free apps.

ponderance.dev is a personal portfolio that also hosts a set of small apps and services — some public, some shared only with invited friends and family. Each is described in the Services section. They are provided free of charge and offered as-is.

§02

Eligibility and accounts

In short — be old enough; your sign-in is you.

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age where you live) to use the services. Some services require signing in — with a third-party provider (such as Google) or with an account on that app; you're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

§03

Your content is yours

In short — you keep ownership; saving lets us host and show it; public means public.

You keep all rights to the content you create or upload. By saving or uploading to a service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, and display it solely to operate that service. If you mark something public or unlisted, you also grant the right to show it (including a preview) at its shareable link and, where a service supports it, to let other users remix it. Deleting content ends that licence going forward, apart from copies already cached or already remixed by others.

§04

Acceptable use

In short — don't post illegal or abusive content; don't attack the services.

You agree not to upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or that depicts or endangers minors; not to impersonate others; and not to attack, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the limits or security of any service. We may remove content and suspend access for violations, at our discretion.

§05

Service-specific terms

In short — each toy adds a little fine print of its own.

Some services add their own rules — for example, public Kaleidoscope pieces may be remixed by others; the self-hosted media and photo services (Jellyfin, Immich) are for invited personal use and their libraries aren't yours to redistribute. Those specifics live in the Services section and apply alongside these Terms.

§06

Intellectual property

In short — the site's code and brand are mine; your content is yours.

The site's design, branding, and code are owned by Anmol Saxena (the source is on GitHub under its repository licence). These Terms grant you no rights to the ponderance name or marks beyond using the services normally.

§07

Third-party services

In short — Google, Spotify, Cloudflare and the like have their own terms.

The services use third-party infrastructure and sign-in providers (such as Google, Spotify, and Cloudflare); your use of those is also governed by their respective terms and policies.

§08

Disclaimers

In short — free hobby projects, no guarantees.

The services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee they'll be uninterrupted, error-free, or that saved content will be preserved indefinitely — keep your own copies of anything you care about. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part at any time.

§09

Limitation of liability

In short — to the extent the law allows, damages are limited.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anmol Saxena won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the services. Because they're free, total liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.

§10

Termination

In short — either of us can walk away.

You can stop using the services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the services.

§11

Governing law

In short — Texas law governs.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

§12

Changes

In short — updated terms post here with a new date.

We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date will change, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

§13

Contact

In short — one inbox.
